PERPETUAL PATIENT MONITORING

Ceiba provides an innovative, integrated way for hospitals to monitor patients by converging multiple bedside technologies that put clinicians back in control of their workflow. Technology integrated with a hospital’s various systems enables receipt of a continual stream of patient data. Tele-care teams, informed by a continual stream of patient data, co-manage patient care on a 24/7 basis, with the ability to proactively initiate care in response to patient conditions. Clinician analysis of the data and the additional manpower enable increasingly collaborative, proactive high- quality critical care. In addition, hospital systems also gain the ability to aggregate and report on performance metrics, measuring both individual patient outcomes and population health results.

Integration into the Tele ICU system leads to a reduction in mortality and length of stay, as well as improvements in patient care.

With the continual data-stream of patient information from multiple interfaces and the ability to interact with the bedside via purpose-built 2-way without any hardware dependency conferencing, a physician working from a care center or any remote location can seamlessly support care for a patient in another center day or night. Clinicians may use proprietary aquity scoring, instant waveforms and monitor alarms scoring to help them identify patients who are at risk or who are demonstrating early deterioration.

Utilization of a tele-ICU not only makes care by physicians more accessible across a hospital system; it drives a higher level of care, leading to improved outcomes and lower costs.
